The Woburn Golf Club Professional Shop is a stockist of the very latest in golf clubs, balls, equipment and apparel.  Woburn offers a Custom Fitting service for Callaway, Mizuno, Ping, PXG, Taylormade and Titlelist, it also stocks a wide selection of Scotty Cameron and Odyssey putters.  Woburn offers an extensive range of golf clothing to include Adidas, Ecco, Footjoy, Galvin Green, J.Lindeberg, Kjus, Peter Millar, Puma, Travis Mathew, Under Armour and ladies ranges from Rohnisch and Swing Out Sister.

Woburn Golf Club was one of the first golf clubs in the country to offer a full indoor fitting and simulator studio with the technology to provide enhanced custom fitting, ball fitting, nearest the pin/longest drive challenges, practice options, tuition and the chance to play a selection of top class golf courses in simulator mode.

At Woburn Golf Club we take great pride in the quality of our golf coaching service. All members of our coaching team are PGA qualified and we offer coaching for every requirement.

 

Dan Grieve - Head PGA Professional

Dan Grieve has been Head Professional since February 2018. He is a Fellow of the PGA and has coached players to a Major Championship, Tour Campionship and three European Order of Merits as well as several International Amateur titles.  Dan's Short Game School attracts golfers from all around the UK as they head to Woburn to enjoy his coaching on the magnificent Tavistock Short Game Area.

Jamie Donaldson - AimPoint

Jamie has over 19 years of golf coaching experience and is certainly regarded as one of most innovative golf coaches in the UK. As Europe’s senior AimPoint green reading instructor, Jamie has taught dozens of tour players the AimPoint green reading technique all over the world, with one of his highlights working with the victorious Solheim Cup 2011 squad.

Jordan Bazzone
PGA Golf Professional 

Jordan is competent in using the latest technology when coaching including GC2 and HMT, Trackman, Blast Motion and Hive Learning software to manage coaching programmes. Jordan has been a fully qualified PGA Professional at Woburn Golf Club since 2014.

Adam Ledger 
PGA Golf Professional 

Having qualified as a PGA 'AA' Professional in 2010 Adam joined the Woburn Professional team in April 2016. 

Adam has experience teaching all levels of ability, from beginners to scratch golfers and uses the latest technology with Skillest video analysis, the Foresight sports launch monitor and has full access to an online community using Hive learning.  He has achieved a reputation for developing junior golfers and coaches several county level juniors.  A great advocate for teaching his clients as individuals and not to a general defined method, he works with them to improve their individual skills and strengths and achieve their personal golfing goals. 

With experience of playing in many professional tournaments he played  the Euro Pro Tour 2012.  He represents Mizuno and J.Lindeberg as a brand ambassador. 

 
Elliott Appleby
PGA Assistant Professional 

Elliott joined Woburn in October 2018 and is a Year 3 Assistant Professional who also specialises in Custom Fitting.

A coach to golfers of all standards from beginners to single figure handicappers, Elliott uses current technology and offers coaching using Hudl Technique and a GC Quad Launch Monitor.  He  works closely with Dan Grieve, Jordan Bazzone and Adam Ledger to improve his coaching knowledge. Elliott’s method of coaching is to break the swing down and simplify his explanations for the golfer in front of him, in order to achieve their goals.

Before turning professional in 2017 Elliott played a lot of amateur golf at club and county level.  He continues to play professional events within the PGA South Region.

Coaching we provide

Individual Golf Lessons

One to one coaching on any area of your game - full swing, short game, putting, bunkers, specialist shots and course management.   The Professional Team are able to offer 'quick fixes' or for those really committed  why not sign up for one of our game improvement programmes.

Junior Coaching

The Professional Team at Woburn Golf Club provide an opportunity for boys and girls to learn and enjoy the game of golf with individual or group lessons, catering for juniors of all ages and ability.  Holiday programmes are available for small groups during school holidays.

Group Golf Coaching

For those who prefer to learn in a group, the Woburn Professional Team are able to offer multi-pupil lessons - to include  Beginner Coaching packages, Short Game Clinics, 'Here come the Girls' and Junior coaching, including school holiday camps.
